Recently there has been alot of drama with regard to the Send Lemons fund and quite alot of nonsensical hysterics regarding this matter from a small number of people, and in particular the SOSGA Campaign Leaders.

As a result the SOSGA campaign has distanced themselves from us, despite knowing full well what was going on behind the scenes.

We would encourage you to make your voices heard by sending letters, lemons, postcards and anything you can think of which expresses your desire for a 6th season of Stargate Atlantis and your disatisfaction with its cancellation.

A number of fans during their tour

Well, we here at Save-TheLostCity and SOSGA are happy to report that the rally outside Bridge Studios on the 12th September 2008 was a success! There were a number of fans at the studios all day - waving banners, chanting, enjoying conversations with stars from the show - and the executive producers - some even got a guided tour around the studios with Robert Picardo!

We at Save The Lost City and SOSGA would like to send out a massive thank you to everyone who participated in this event

This would be a VERY important step in our campaign!!

It will show the powers that be how serious we are about saving Atlantis!! So please do your best to join us and keep your eyes peeled for further details to be released shortly!

It has been reported that September 12 is the last day of shooting for Stargate Atlantis. On this day fans are gathering to rally outside Bridge Studios in Vancouver at 9:00AM.

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT DAY FOR THE SAVE THE LOST CITY CAMPAIGN!!

If you can make it to Bridge Studios on this day, bring friends and family and join the rally! Bring signs, bring lemons and try to make the campaign known! Advertise the websites and campaign on signs so we can spread the word. The more support for this rally the more of an impact we can make. We know that many of you may not be near the studios, so those of you that are, this is your chance to make a difference!

THIS IS OUR CHANCE! WE MUST SEIZE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE THE LOST CITY - AND SAVE OUR STARGATE ATLANTIS!!

Well things have changed for First Strike! If you have been on GateWorld, then you already know of these changes, but for those who have not….

From Save the Lost City and SOSGA

Recent evidence has come to light to suggest that a mass email strike may be a futile venture.

However, with everyone already enthusiastic with the idea, we do not wish your coordination efforts to be in vain. We would like to change First Strike into a snail mail campaign. The effort of writing and mailing real letters shows that we, as fans, are serious and willing to put forth the effort to save our SGA! Where emails can be blocked or deleted, mail has to go right into offices and collect; making an impact. We would like for Tuesday (Monday is a holiday with no US mail) to be the day where everyone mails out letters to the addresses we have provided on the websites. If you need to pick and choose because of time and expense of mailing, please send them to MGM and Sci Fi channel personnel first. First Strike isn’t over folks, just changing direction!!

Also, another VERY IMPORTANT subject to be discussed is the video Blog campaign. We need EVERYONE who can to do a vlog!!

Well as this campaign continues to fly to the skies, everyone engaged in Saving Atlantis is embarking on a pre-arranged strike to send in both email and mail for the date Monday 1st September. Imagine what will happen when thousands of people are coordinated and send in their thoughts ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

We hear theyre already having problems with their servers as Network President David Howe says; “There’s no sign of a letup in my e-mail inbox, I can tell you,” in a telephone interview from England Friday. “I’ve had to get on with IT because it is so clogged up with e-mails to ‘Save Atlantis.’ “
